Ready to do some handiwork? Then head to YBCA on Saturday, August 14th for the Big Idea Night Party – a rousing night of homespun ingenuity to celebrate the TechnoCRAFT exhibit curated by Yves Behar.
There will be some live electronic musicanship, some innovative workarounds and basement fiddlings, as well as a a 80’s workout video party by TV carnage. So come dance with drinks in hand until 2 in the morning….admission is free and DIY weirdness is on the menu!
Also, just adjacent to YBCA in the museum’s sculpture garden is a beautiful piece by Jewlia Eisenberg called the Bowl’s Project – a unique merger of arcane babylonian relics and modern day technologies that is worth a visit. Step inside a double vaulted stone dome and listen as the night’s secrets reverberate the space.
