Government secrecy faces a new challenge from the Internet and enterprising journalists like Trevor Paglen, whose work unearths covert military activities and makes stunning art objects out of relics of information.

On Thursday, October 21st Trevor Paglen will be on hand at City Lights Books to discuss his new chef d’oeuvre titled Invisible, which features a collection of photographs, documents and artifacts and also includes an essay by Rebecca Solnit (who tackles the issue of military surveillance in her Right Wing of the Dove map, part of her highly anticipated Infinite City atlas).

As artist, writer and experimental geographer, Trevor Paglen will be sure to show you the ballooned militarized economy in a new light.
