720 Geary will be taken over from Dec. 8 through the 22nd by a pop-up gallery based around experiments in sound and music. Created by curator Aimee Friberg the Magic Carpet gallery will feature performances with visual optics and projections. The schedule of events features performances every Wednesday night beginning at 7:30pm, among which is included a special screening of Bruce Conner’s Mea Culpa. And on Saturday you can browse and shop for shirts and goodies made by Dome City while sipping cosmic cocktails.
